NFPA® 1033 JPR Demonstrating Compliance for Fire Investigators
Instructor: Steve Riggs
To maximize the learning experience, and to gauge the outcome of the candidate, we will cover appropriate material for each of the JPR’s, requisite skills, and measurable outcomes for each of the job performance requirements.
As a group we will cover the appropriate material for each of the JPR’s, and their appropriate sub-sections. After each JPR is covered, explained, and understood, you will then be allowed to perform the various JPR tasks, given the appropriate tools, and this will allow for the measuring of the observable outcomes. The grading will be listed as pass or fail.
Each attendee/candidate will be photographed conducting each of the JPR’s and their appropriate sub-sections. Each attendee/candidate will be provided with a copy of the images demonstrating compliance with the JPR’s after they are backed up on appropriate storage media, and servers, this will allow the ability to recover the lost documentation if the attendee would lose their copy.
Attendees should bring appropriate coveralls, boots, helmets, goggles, or work gloves, or other appropriate clothing.
Carterson Public Safety Group, Inc. will provide the cameras or capturing documentation, evidence collection kits, tools, diagraming materials, evidence containers, nitrile gloves, evidence tape, and other appropriate items to be successful in the hands-on portions of the class.
For the breakdown of the class hours, the class will begin on the first day at 8:30 am and will conclude between 4:00 and 4:30 p.m., the second day will begin at 8:00 a.m. and end between 4:00 and 4:30 p.m. The third day will begin at 8:00 a.m. and will conclude at 12:00 Noon.
